Mend Electrolux RM6271 Lights Time Flame

electrolux RM6271?

my fridge in my caravan lights first time but as soon as I release the knob the flame goes out. I have replaced the thermocouple, and fitted a new jet to the burner, and I have borrowed a replacement main valve and fitted that and it made no difference. Has anyone out there had a similar problem and if so how did you solve it.
