Beko DWD4311S leaking from lower door even after seal replacement?

My Beko DWD4311S dishwasher is leaking from the bottom of the door(between the door and the kick plate. I have replaced the lower door seal correctly and actually it's now worse than it was with the old door seal! I have used a Beko replacement part. I've also tried the tipping up thing and that hasn't helped either(desperate measures!) When I pulled it out from its slo there was a black mark on the floor in the middle of the machine and I'm wondering if the overfill float has burned out? The only thing is, is that the machine is not over filling(I've checked mid cycle) and everything is pumping out fine. so all functions seem to be OK. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm also waiting on a new seal for the whole of the inside too so maybe that might help?
