Grinding noise?

This make it is usually a worn rear drum bearing and the shaft cuts through the bearing and then the machine casing, other causes...front drum plastic guides worn and drum riding metal to metal on casing.....or cooling fan blade on motor scraping the rear casing. Bearing, shaft, plastic guides and felts are available as spare parts but probably not a diy project. Cheers
