Mend Indesit IDL 705 Dishwasher Door Seal

How do you replace the bottom door seal on Indesit IDL 705?

I am struggling to remove the side panels from an Indesit IDL 705 dishwasher so that I can remove the door and replace the bottom door seal. Any suggestions? Is there some way I can replace the lower seal without removing the door?
