Mend Mira Play Electrics Switch Fuse

shower tripping electrics?

when switching on mira play electric shower it trips the switch in the fuse box.
What in the shower could be causing this?

Does it trip immediately or after a short time?
is it tripping its own breaker or the RCD (thats the main one with the button as well the switch )
If it trips its own breaker immediately you switch the shower on it could be the element
