Mending Belling Synergie 592BL fan assisted oven?

The electricity kept tripping over a few days, then the fan assisted oven stopped working. Electricity ok since then, so we presume the oven was faulty. Is it the element that needs changing or could it be something else. Would it be cheaper getting a new oven?
