Mend Sony RDR-GX330 Stuck Stays Hello

my Sony DVD recorder (RDR-GX330) is stuck with "Welcome..power stays on?

Hello, my Sony DVD recorder (RDR-GX330) is stuck with "Welcome" on display.
I have unplugged it and also held the power button, then open plus stop. Same result. I do hear what I think is the fan running after 5 seconds up. Stays on unless I unplug
