The problem is the drive belt in your vcr.It's loose or stretched.That needs to be replaced. To do this is not that easy. First you have to take off the top cover. Next you have to take off the front cover, that equires the removal of usally 2 screws on the top the are connected to the front panel.With that you have to then remove the screws that hold the vcr to the board.With those removed and the 2 on the top front, lift the vcr up carefully.Watch for the flex cables that are connected to the vcr.You should be abl to see and replace the belt.Reverse thiis procedure to put it back together.
