Mend Singer 413 Bobbin Machine Timing

413 singer is out of timeing?

Had to take bobbin carrier out of machine. had to take belt off and forgot to mark the timing. the machine had been stored in a barn. and was full of dirt. the machine was seized and wouldn't move. its all cleaned up.

basic hook timing is set at a position where hook point is approx 2mm higher than needle eye when handwheel is turned and needle in upward motion.from there adjust little for or backwards until timing set to pick up cotton in zigzag motion
