Mend Nissan Micra Connector

Cheap fix for car signal/flasher indicator socket? Broken metal connector?

My 1996 Nisan Micra drivers side front indicator/flasher signal is not working and the dashboard indicator light flashes rapidly when switched on.

The bulb is ok, but the socket metal springy connector has sheared off. I soldered it back on and it worked for a day, then it broke again.

Please can you recommend a cheap but more secure fix, to give me a couple of weeks to trade in the car for a newer model? I'm in the UK.
