corsa 1,4 very low revs?

when engine starts then slow build up to 1000 revs in gear as soon as i try to move the revs drop almost to cut out. no power when moveing ,or on any kind of hill it simply will not move .at junction today i tried to keep revs high but as soon as clutch engages almost all power is lost
