How to clean out machine?

thank you, ill give the washing machine cleaner a go, sounds a plan, and if i have too, ill take the bowl apart, last resort

The only way to completely clean all of it out is to remove the agitator and the inner bowl. Scrub clean the inner & outer bowls and put back together. You can buy washing machine bowl cleaner which you put in the machine and fill bowl with hot water and let it do a cycle without any clothes in it. Never used it but some people say it works well.

Its not a plug as such, I dont know what its called, I just need to know how you clean all the gunk out and where in the machine
