Scantronic 9427 major problem?

Hi peeps usual problem started with a power outage followed by the noise,so replaced both 2.1 ah batteries but still have problem.
Keypad lights that are lit now are power slow flash,solid fault & tamper.
Keypad acknowledges my presses by beeping but code don't work?,what has happened and how can I sort it out please.

Tamper springs closed correctly?

9427 is the keypad, the panel is a 9448/9448+

Why TWO 2.1 AH batteries? You would never fit them into the panel.
Ahh thinking about it a larger metal box 9449???
Still wondering about the TWO batteries, have you wired them back in correctly?
Series and Parallel will cause serious issues. Even blow up the panel.
