fixing 9651 alarm system?

lid tamper flashing after removing box to inspect battery its ok put box back. alarm went of day before .pad says reset with lid temper flashing but cant seem to reset.

Chances are it's a pro install and on the all great engineers reset and rightly so.

His curiosity will cost him dearly.

Lid back on correctly and screws back in?.

Are you certain the tamper circuit is closed?.

Key your code in twice and if you are sure the checks above are good then it's likely to be set up for engineers reset and for that you will need to know the code.
