Mend 307 Warning Petrol Drive

Anit pollution warning?

Does anyone know how to remedy an anti pollution warning on a Peugeuot 307 petrol? We tend to drive it on the smell of an oily rag and the petrol light has been on for a while. The car is running fine, but now has the engine warning light on all the time. Could it be low fuel level and cheap petrol?

Thanks cdc. I filled it with decent fuel and the engine warning light went off. I travel 1.5 miles to work (lazy, I know) so I gave it a good burst on the motorway. Hopefully I've resolved the issue without having to open my cheque book.

does it do a lot of town driving?if so a good thrashing at high revs along a motorway for half an hour may sort out your problem
