Mend Mondeo Snapped Open Wire

2008 Mondeo bonnet release snapped ?

I went to open the bonnet release and nothing!
I located the wire and as I pulled it , it started to get loose , so I guess it's snapped somewhere other than near to the handle.
How do I open the bonnet without it to see what's wrong ?
