turned on tv to find no sound, picture fine

Probably a wire disconnected from the speaker(s). Unplug,
Open the back, and check out the speakers. Resolder the wire with liquid solder, or twist it tightly or replace the speaker if necessary. I only had to reconnect the speaker wire.
