Hotpoint ctd40p dryer with all lights flashing and now no power. I have checked fuse and reset thermostat but nothing. Bypassed thermostat by wire and still no power...any ideas???
Thankyou for the reply but as mentioned above the lights were flashing during operation…Upon use the next day it was noted there was no power. I checked the fuse and reset the thermostat as recommended by various sites. There is still no power so it was also suggested to remove the thermostat and bypass with a lead to see if the unit would power up (not use)…Again this did not work so I am unsure of the problem now…I don’t believe it is worth the call of an engineer if it is a simple fix but not willing to throw money at it when prefer to buy new as a last resort…
