Mend Kirby G4 Vacuum Replacement Hose

Replace hose on G4 Kirby?

I need to replace the hose inside the cloth bag on my Kirby G4. The hose broke in two at the bottom. I don't know if the after market hoses w/the zip ties will work. And I don't know the diameter of the hose. Does anybody know this or had the same problem?
