changing fuel tank on 1994 daf 45 130?

is this a simple job for someone with a little automotive knowledge? where the two fuel pipes connect to the fuel tank through those brass elbow joints, I have a leak from the thinnest fuel pipe coming from where it joins the brass elbow joint. Would this be the fuel pipe or brass connection joint that would need replacing? If I had a new tank fitted would these brass connectors be changed or would they reuse the ones from my old tank? Thanks any help appreciated.

hi got a new union, drained tank, put some plumbers tape on thread and put onto tank, cut end off fuel pipe and put in union, no leaks! Thanks for your help and advice, much appreciated :)

A brand new tank from DAF won't come with the couplings. A leak from the pipe will either be the coupling or the pipe ,without seeing it I don't know..If that is your issue thn you won't need a tank .Drain your tank ,remove the pipe and unscrew coupling ,Fit a new coupling with any O rings or washers ,make sure there are no nicks or damage to the pipe and the end is cut straight,otherwise is will leak ,and push in fully
