Mend DSC 9427 Alarm Enter Beeps

9427 alarm internal sound triggers?

Hi, we have moved into a new house with a 9427 alarm. When we enter the house the alarm beeps, then after a couple of beeps (and this time may vary) it triggers internally (very load) as though it is about to go off. It's really load. The external alarm hasn't gone off yet.
Any advice out there?

Hi, Yes it is very loud, I think it was 3am when I posted the question.
The keypad shows a read LED against Z2 and no fault light.

Any thoughts anyone.
