Mend Red Devil PDW5012PB Works Side

red devil table saw PDW5012PB?

Whilst the blade height adjustment works when the table saw is on its side i.e the blade is horizontal, when put back in its working position the blade simply drops down out of sight. What counteracts the weight of the blade and motor allowing the blade to remain above the table surface and thus able to cut?

there are 8 terminals and two terminals for the reset I have one brown and one blue with a exteinsion on the blue that come from the plug .and one black and one white to the moter each with extension conected to a yellow box can you help please
