Mend Vauxhall Vectra Diesel Cold

vauxhall vectra diesel 2 0 ltr dti 1998?

preheater not working even in cold weather. car starts after many seconds/mins on key. no preheater indicator showing on dash. fuse or relay ? if so which one in engine bay. i know where fuse box is but not which one. regards pete.

just browsing, thought might give you some idess ,,,lift bonnet , to the right there is a fuse box with two or three large fuses and a small relay next to this is a long unit with fin like things on the side, loads of wires entering the top of this unit. the centre wire (red) is the live feed to it just check ie ,is it live and is it pushed down far enough to the terminal,
hope this the type may help maybe not but good luck
