How can I fix my Panasonic Viera TX-L37 U3B?

Thanks Peccavi for taking the time to answer me.
We have now updated the software but no difference. My sons think it may be a transmitter problem although the bedroom TV that works through the same aerial is fine.
There is no other delay using any other commands on remote only the GUIDE.
We don't have SKY but BT Internet although we only use it if watching catch up or recordings. Most time we watch through the TV/Aerial.

I have nearly the same model - just a slightly different screen size - and I've never used the "guide" button on the remote - we have Sky and use the sky guide.

I just tried guide on my Panasonic TV and it's almost instantaneous - a bit limiting because I only see 5 horizontal rows of programmes but no matter.

Today for technical reasons - to get the TV talking to my internet router - I was encouraged to update the software - it may be that your set is in need of the latest version of S/W - it takes about 10 minutes.
