Mend Tricity Bendix Oven Door Shattered

Tricity Bendix electirc oven glass door shattered?

After finishing cooking in the oven, I turned off the oven like normal. Ten minutes later I hear a bang I thought some had dropped of the counter but instead to my horror I found the oven glass door had exploded /shattered. Why and how could this happen? is there a common fault with these ovens?
