Mend sharp ER-A330 Sharp Cash Register

sharp ER-A330 cash register frozen?

The register is frozen and there is an E and $ amount showing on the display. We tried signing in #1 cashier bit that did not change anything. We have also pulled the plug hoping that it would rest but nothing.

Press CLEAR (CL) and see if the E disappears. If not, you probably have a keyboard fault such as spillage. If you can clear the error, press subtotal then total.
