Mend Hotpoint Aquarius Complete

How can i remove plastics at front of hotpoint aquarius condenser ?

Hi i need to complete removal of the timer dial so i can reseat the power switch on the dryer as it doesn't seem to be "clicking" indicating that its not seated right and will not hold the tumble dryer on
