engine wont start new battery installed and only a clicking noise?

Follow the big fat cable from the battery +ve terminal to the starter. Check all connections.

The click you hear will be the contactor/relay for the starter - a switch for the very high current needed to turn the engine over.

Either there's a connection come adrift - or the relay device is defective - or the starter motor has died.
