hi richard.......it might be your white slowing ramp needs adjusting at the top of the rail[its pushing the mushroom head on the slowing d2d switch in to far and can even snap them off].....if your call the stairlift with the remote control a couple of feet from the top and look down the underside of rail at the slowing white ramp and call the lift up you will see if the head of the d2d switch is getting to far pushed in[may be sticking in slightly causing your fault].....adjust the slowing ramp in slightly so it just touches the mushroom head of switch when passing............let us know how you get on...........paul.....portsmouth u/k
