How to fix Braun Tassimo 3107 ?

I seem to be having problems with my Braun Tassimo 3107 with four flashing lights. I have cleaned the bar code reader, tried another T-disc, checked and made sure the water container is sitting level and the float inside reaches the connector inside the water container. It had been standing for a while and now I had decided to reuse it; it had been working previously. Please can anyone help to resolve this problem!

I was having the same problem....I tried the magnet over the switch...and it worked!

I have read online of one person who suggested holding a magnet to the back of the machine, right over the power switch. I tried it with a flat business card sized magnet and it worked! I duct taped it in place; can't see it from the front.
