CD drive motor ?

I've read the suggestions below. My Bose would get to near end of CD and then start skipping or not play at all. The motor that drives the disc does not spin the disc now. This happened once before about a year ago. I took it apart at that time and when I reassembled it worked again. I'm not having the same fortune this time. Radio still works fine. Would like to CD player to work again. No chance of reading disc if doesn't spin. I know there is power to as it will turn a 1/2 turn 2 or 3 times initially but won't continue. Any suggestion for this situation?
