How can I fix my Ride On Rover Raider Lawnmower?

When starting, the engine turns over and runs at high revs. Eventually (30 sec or so) oil starts to spew from the carburator into the air filter and the motor cuts out. Investigations have revealed that the fuel is mixing into the oil. Have recently had the carb serviced by mechanic. What could cause this and how do I fix it.
