Mend Mercedes-Benz 814 Pipe Coming Side

Mercedes 814?

What is the pipe (tube) coming from the inside of the passenger side wheel. I was underneath it reconnecting the batteries and noticed this flexible clear pipe, about 6 inches long. Its attached to the inside of the wheel but just sticking out. Im now worried it should be attached to something at the other end.
