Can I turn off breaker instead of unplugging? Stacked unit pushed into?

tight space and can't pull it out by myself. Have had LG model WM2077CW since mid 2006 and it has always worked great. Live alone so just wash a few loads a week. Washed small load with big bathrobe yesterday and it would not drain or spin and have LE msg. Tried turn 4x and cut breaker for a few minutes. Will try for a longer time and then do 4x drum turn. I thought LG was a great brand until I read all of these posts!
