Had Purchased a Moffat 3000 DL Built-in Oven & Grill Unit many years back and is in a fairly good condition. Shortly after the purchase your representatives in Malta were called cos of a smell of gas (LPG). They removed for us the Override mechanism as being the cause (sic). For all these years the smell continued and decided to change the gas supply piping. The smell of gas stopped. Being without this Override mechanism in place we never used the automatic controls to turn the oven on and off automatically and worked manually satisfactorily. Recently the oven could not ignite as the gas was not reaching the oven. The grill is not effected. On turning the override to the right and holding it, the oven lights and goes off again soon as the lever springs back to the left.
1) Is there a solution to this problem ?
2) Who represents you in Malta today since the previous representitives it appears have ceased to exist.
3) The clock had also given up. Could it be due to the removed mechanism. ?
Moffat Ovens are sold exclusively by Wikes - Electrolux currently supply Wikes with Moffat Ovens.

1st, nothing to do with us.
This site is manned by volunteers, helping people fix problems, yes it can be fixed, over ride will not affect clock operation, more the other way, clock not working will affect oven functions.
