Mend Hotpoint Aquarius Temperature Replacement Problem

Hotpoint Aquarius shower - water too hot?

Help!! My shower has suddenly started getting the water too hot. There is several heat ranges from 1 to 11 I think. We have always had it set to number 5 and this was the perfect temperature. It now even when on 1 is getting too hot. Does anyone have any ideas how we can fix it. Or is it a replacement shower we need?
