Deadlocked Citroen ?

My Citroen pluriel normally mechanically sound, except a week last Monday wouldn't open, passenger side opened with key, the fob sounded like it was going to work but it didn't, after trying fuses, broken wires, battery, took driver panel off bought a drivers side new door lock wired it to computor , the BSI unit told the car to lock and unlock it , but it didn't, tried all suggestions offered by Citroen does it sound like a new unit BSI i dashboard, only I'm getting ready to thrash the devil with a big stick cos I'm fed up getting in by the drivers door .
