Scantronic?

Our alarm has recently come up with a fault that according to the manual is the control panel lid tamper.I have removed and refitted the lid several times ensuring the tamper switch was making contact,but still it says lid tamper,any ideas welcome please.

What were you doing to cause the fault?
Sounds like you were trying something especially if you have the engineering code.

No still can't sort it out guys, i have used the installers code and the tamper crops up as soon as I exit engineering mode, first the E then i exit then i get the lt again.I have been trying all this time and i'am starting to pull my hair out.

It is definitely lt acorn and that's what puzzled me because the lid was on and the unit hasn't been disturbed in any way.

That is the keypad.
You have a 9800 panel.

Is it Lt or another 2nd letter?
The panel lid does not tend to fall off.

Which Scantronic, there are many, not all the same switches? Tell us the Model number & we'll see what we can do.
