how can i fix my aristin washer/dryer?

My ariston margherita 2000 AL128D is flashing 2 times with continuously rotating dial, can anyone please tell me what's this error code means? Could I fix it myself?

Send the main module (in the back of the machine at the bottom) for test. Repair is £47.88 Test is £1.20 Postage £6.
