Should I get an electrician to fix the problem?

Thank you for the answer Kenjo. However since I am unable to fix it myself I was wondering is it still okay to use the dryer since I can still control the on/off when I open or shut the door? Will the dryer be affected in any other way because of the stuck button? As I mentioned in my earlier query I don't use the dryer very often. Once I am sure that I can still use the dryer without the button affecting the working of the dryer as a whole or endangering the user I may leave it be....otherwise I will ask an electrician to handle the job. Thanks for your time Kenjo.
