apparently cd was inserted with too much pressure and won't eject I can hear it trying to do so when eject button is depressed and then maybe will begin playing. It is about 7-8 years old. model awrcc1
take it apart and put 'rubber solution' on the eject drive belt. Works 95% of the time. rubber solution is from a bicycle repair kit.

There is a needle sized hole in the front panel of most units. Open up a paper clip until it is straight and poke it through the hole for about 25-30mm. This will manually open the draw provided it has not been forced to extent that there is a broken lever.
