Mend Citroen C4 Coupe 1.6 VTR Fault Light System

Anti pollution fault ?

My anti pollution light has just come on,I went to Citroen and they said try and go on a long trip to clear the system out but this did'nt work.citroen c4 coup'e 1.6 VTR petrol.thanks

The garage are right with their suggestion. Short runs or lack of servicing can cause the light to come on when unburnt fuel is detected by the lambda sensor.

When was the car last serviced? When was the air filter last renewed? Is it being used for mainly short runs? Are you using decent fuel in it such as Shell V-Power or BP Ultimate, or are you using cheap supermarket fuel?
