Mend Sharp XE-A506 Register Position Not

register position not responding?

I have a sharp xe a506..key position in register position is not engaging. key position in every other setting (pgm, mgr, x/z's) are working, but reg will not engage. Already tried re-initializing for a "re-boot". How do I get register to recognize the reg position again?

sounds like the copper tracking on the back of the key lock has broken
do you all ways to the till on \off with the key

It is normally a fault (or liquid spillage) in the mode lock. You might need to get a technician to check it.
