the boot on my vauxhall astra design 57 plate wont open?

Hi,

I had an astra estate on a 07 plate and thought boot lock had gone. After surfing the net, it turned out to be a blown fuse. This fuse, believe or not is the same fuse as the windscreen washer. Try squirting the washer and if nothing comes out and you don't hear the washer motor, it's the fuse. I couldn't believe they are linked. Letme know how you get on.
