Lost the picture but not sound on Philips portable dvd player for the car?

I have a Philips portable DVD player for in the car, with a second portable LCD screen that connects up to the dvd player. It did work fine but then I lost the picture on the second monitor. There is still sound coming from that monitor. I have checked all wires in right place and wiggled them around in case loose wire. Any ideas? Is this fixable or do I need to replace?
