Mend Ariston AWD12 Washing Machine Heater Element Thermostat

ARISTON Margherita 2000 - AWD12. Dryer will not heat?

Heater element, fan and thermostat all checked, but the drying cycle won't deliver any heat to washing. Anyone any ideas? I can only think the programmer must be faulty.
