depending on the battery in the panel if its any good. if u turn the power off and it doesn't sound and the led lights show then it will run on the battery for 1min to 3 hours depending on the battery. then it start to go of as the battery dies down. if there's no leds showing then the battery's no good in the panel and the alarm will turn off without sounding.
