Hi, Tina,
Double glazing won't stop condensation...it will go elsewhere. Condensation is water vapour that you've created in the house by cooking, washing, even just breathing. It will always find the coldest spot to go back to its natural state, that is water. If it doesn't appear on a window, it will find another cold spot, which may be a wall. then you'll have mould appearing on the wallpaper. The only way to stop condensation is to improve the ventilation. You must leave a window partly open or fit an extractor fan. Everybody's fitting double glazing and sealing their houses up tight and now finding they've got problems with mould on their walls and rotting timber fittings. You must find some way of letting the water vapour that you create escape, otherwise the condensation will never go away...double glazing or not. Have fun!!!!!!!!
