how did she manage that i wonder?well first things first,remove the fuse from the spur unit,(if fitted)if not,turn power off,now open the end station,remove the battery terminals,( gently)get some one to fit the end station back on wall,properly this time ,be careful of the wires, once that is done,replace the red wire on the red terminal of the battery,the black wire on the black terminal of the battery,check the mains lead is connected to the terminal block inside the end station,(top left hand corner) clodse the lid put the screws back on to secure it,turn power back on,go to the keypad,now,hope this works,if you do what i say hopefully it will rest,if not the engineer who installed it may have changed the code,now,key in 07890,if the keypad says installer mode,we have won a watch, now,if it says installer mode,key in 99 and press the tick,(bottom right hand corner)it should say leave engineering prog,,press the tick,it should say checking system,then it will display the either the day and date,or the series model,if you get that message,the panel is now reset,if you get none of the above,its on engineer reset,and he has changed the code,you will need to get an engineer in,hope this helps,happy new year when it comes,
