Thanks. Engine does turn and lights don't dim, its not battery.

To do as you ask it would be good to say the make and model of the vehicle and your mail address - people usually wait for an answer on the site - revealing your mail address makes you a hostage to fortune.

At this time of the year starting problems are very often a poor battery.

You fail to mention what happens when you attempt to start - does the engine turn? Do the lights dim? Have you checked the fuel?

So much left unsaid...
